Peter Andary started working at Kay’s Kitchen in 1976 at the age of 15. In 1994 he and his wife Kelly purchased the restaurant and with the help of family and friends and a great deal of sweat equity they were able to open Andary’s Family Restaurant for business in February of 1995.

As many of their regular customers know, Peter and Kelly have been blessed to have many employees who have been with them for a very long time, as well as many family members who make up the Andary’s staff. For this reason, the restaurant has a very home like, friendly atmosphere.

Because of God’s providence and the continued support from their loyal customers the Andary’s were fortunate enough to be able to remodel and change the décor of the restaurant for the first time in more than 33 years.

My absolute favorite, local breakfast spot! It just feels like home when you walk through the doors. They have wide variety of dishes but breakfast is my personal favorite. Jaybird sandwiches and the Gratiot bash are hands down two of the best! Give them a try next time you need a great start to your morning! And they serve them with a smile!

I Came Upon This Place from a suggestion of a friend. I was only in town for 3 days yet they managed to eat here two of them. I definitely enjoyed fact that did not have to wait. They move people in and out rapidly and offer a good value for your money. Highly recommend the blueberry pancakes ask for it with a side of bacon and a couple of scrambled eggs. When they bring out your bacon it will not be too skimpy little pieces. It will be five or six good size pieces of bacon. The portion of eggs is also very good. I really enjoyed the blueberry pancakes is I believe they made them fresh.

This is an excellent restaurant in an old school fashion. I haven't seen bread baskets, soup and coleslaw included with your entree in ages. Good prices and really good food. Best fried cod I've ever had. Come on an empty stomach

I've gone to this place when I was kid, when my dad owned the used car lot across the street some time ago. I recently drove past by and missed coming here. We went yesterday and had a good meal. I loved the big guy in the back I dont know his name but he sounds like a great guy. I will definitely be back.

A great go-to for a quick bite to eat. The fresh flowers on the tables are a beautiful touch. They have an excellent classic cheeseburger, and superb strawberry cheesecake.
